Manage IXM One user types

⚙️ For administrators

User types reflect different roles in IXM One. They help to specify what users are allowed to see and do.

That means, IXM One user types have predefined access rights by default. However, as an admin you can edit their rights using permission groups.

Types of users

There are three types of users in IXM One:

Admin

Administrators have read and write access to all menus and areas, including administration.

Standard user

Standard users have access to the playlist and media management areas.

You can expand their access to other areas and their rights for content editing via permission groups.

Location user

Location users can access screen playlists and player-specific content assigned to their players.

They can't edit general content. They can only see areas in IXM One that are unlocked for their permission group.
