⚙️ For administrators
As an admin, you can specify API keys for IXM One users.
These keys are necessary for interface authentication to external applications.
With the interfaces, users can request and display specific information and server data. For example, they can request information on categories, player editions, licences, or locations.
Generate API keys
To generate an API key, perform the following steps:
Go to Administration > Permissions.
In the User management pane, select the user.
Click Edit.
In the Edit user window, select API key.
Click Generate new API key.
Optionally, enter a description of the key.
Optionally, select Set validity period and specify a time range in which the API key is valid.
Click Save to save your changes.
Lock API key generation
Note
If you lock API key generation:
API keys can’t be created for the selected user.
All generated API keys of this user are removed.
A button to unlock API key generation will be available when you open the tab again.
To lock the API key generation, perform the following steps:
Go to Administration > Permissions.
In the User management pane, select the user.
Click Edit.
In the Edit user window, select API key.
Select Lock API generation.
Click Save to save your changes.
