Note
The available properties depend on the spot type, its parameters, and your permissions.
To edit general spot properties, perform the following steps:
In IXM One, go to Content > Playlist.
In the Spot groups pane, select the spot group where your spot is located.
Hover over the spot and click
Edit properties.Edit the following spot properties as desired:
Name
Specify the name of the spot.
Description
Enter a description of the spot.
Keywords
Enter keywords for the spot.
Creation date
Specify the date and time of the spot creation.
Player
Select one of the following options:
General: The spot is not assigned to a specific player.
Change: The spot is assigned to a player. Only users with access to the screen playlist can see and use the spot.
Display duration
Specify the display duration of a spot in the format HH:MM:SS.
Note the following limitations:
You can't change the display duration of video and audio spots.
For HTML Composer spots, you must set the display duration directly in the HTML Composer settings.
You must specify the display duration for individual variants of a spot in the playlist-specific spot settings.
Template
Select to convert an HTML Wizard or Composer spot into a template.
Preloadable
Select to load the website before displaying it.
This setting helps prevent errors and ensures seamless spot transitions.
Note that this setting has restrictions.
Activate version management
If you work with versions, you can create a draft to release separately.
Until the release, these spots aren't visible for users without writing permission.
Note that you can't change this setting once you've selected it.
Allow variants (public)
Select to permit location-specific variants of an original spot that you manage from a central location.
Transparency
Select to enable the following transparency settings for the spot:
Color: Specify the RGB color value that you want to filter out of the video. The default value is #00b140.
Similarity: Specify a deviation from the selected color value in percent. For example, zero percent removes only the selected color value from the image.
Smoothness: Specify the transition from green screen to the desired display image. For example, zero percent means a hard transition.
Do not convert
Select to disable the conversion of a spot to another format.
Note that conversions may be necessary since not every player (hardware) is compatible with every spot type.
Auto. deactivate archiving
Select to deactivate automatic archiving.
This option is only available, if auto-archiving is enabled in your system and exceptions are allowed.
Specify a period of validity after which the spot expires.
By default, all spots are valid indefinitely.
You can only put valid spots on your playlists.
Once the period of validity expires, the spot is automatically removed from all playlists.
Due to timezones, removal happens after 24 hours. Expired spots are not played back during this time.
For individual spot instances, specify a playlist-specific expiration date instead.
If the spot is an original spot with variants, the validity is applied to all variants including newly created spots.
