Work with spot groups

Create spot groups to manage your spots and templates.

Each group can contain any number of spots and different types of spots like images, videos, or HTML spots.
For a good overview, create multiple spot groups and group them together.

Note
As an admin, you can organize spot groups into hierarchical levels and control permissions for each group via user groups.
User must have at least write permission to work with spot groups.

Create spot groups

To create a spot group, perform the following steps:

Go to Content > Playlist.
In the Spot groups pane, click on Creation of a new spot group.
In the Create new spot group window, enter a name for the spot group.
Select Spot group or Template group.
To add or remove user permissions for the spot group, use the arrows or drag-and-drop.
Click Save to create the spot group.

Edit a spot group

To edit an existing spot group, perform the following steps:

Go to Content > Playlist.
In the Spot groups pane, select the spot group that you want to edit.
Click on Editing of the spot group. Alternatively, double-click on the spot group.
In the Spot group edit window, edit your spot group.
Click Save to save your changes.

Copy a spot group

To copy a spot group, perform the following steps:

Go to Content > Playlist.
In the Spot groups pane, select the spot group that you want to copy.
Click on Copying of the spot group.
In the Spot group copy window, edit your newly created spot group.
Click Save to save your changes.

Delete a spot group

You can delete a spot group if you don't need it anymore.

To delete a spot group, perform the following steps:

Go to Content > Playlist.
In the Spot groups pane, select the spot group that you want to delete.
Click on Deletion of the spot group.
In the subsequent dialog, confirm your action.

Note
You can't delete a spot group that contains spots or subordinate spot groups. Delete the spots and subordinate spot groups first.
