Share media preview

You can create and share a preview link for your media files to show it to persons who are not users of IXM One.

Note

The number of permitted views and retrieval days for a preview may vary per server.

Share a media preview

To share a preview, perform the following steps:

1. In IXM One, go to Content > Media management.

2. In the Media groups pane, select a media group to display all selectable media it contains.

3. Select the media file that you want to share a preview of.

4. Click on Tools > Share Spot.

5. In the subsequent Share link dialog, click on Generate link to generate a preview link.

6. Copy the link and store it in a location of your choice. You'll need to share it later.

7. Copy the password and store it in a location of your choice. You'll need to share it later.

8. Share the link and password with the person who you want to show the preview to. You can do so, for example, via email.

Open a media preview

If you have been invited to view a preview of a media file, perform the following steps:

1. Open the preview link that you've received in your browser.

2. Enter the password that you've received.

3. Click on Open preview to display the media preview in your browser.
