Preview players

You can preview your players to check how their content will look after publishing.

Prerequisites

Consider the following prerequisites before you start a preview:

• The preview is only available, if a screen layout, program scheme, and content are assigned to a player.

• The preview opens in a new browser window.

• Loading large playlists, may take more time. Just leave the preview window open until all content has been loaded.

• Settings like time control, holiday lists, or categories are considered in the preview.

• Content quality may vary in preview to reduce response time. Players display content in its original format and native quality.

• The preview for website spots is only available if the website can be displayed in an iframe.

Preview a player

To preview the content of a player, perform the following steps:

1. Go to Channels > Location.

2. Select the location of the player.

3. In the Managing players pane, select the player and click Tools.

4. Select Preview to open the preview in a new browser window.

5. Use the following options in the preview window as required:

   Display	If your player has two displays, select Display 1 or Display 2.
   Date	Specify a date and time for the preview. By default, it's the current IXM One time.
   	Play the preview.
   	Replay the preview from the beginning.
