The playlist approval process in IXM One ensures that authorized users can check a playlist before its publication, for example, someone from branch management.
Note
Note that at least one user group must have reading and writing rights for a playlist to release it.
Release a playlist
If you have permission to release playlist versions, perform the following steps:
Go to Content > Playlist.
Select the playlist that you want to release.
Click
Release of the highlighted version.In the subsequent dialog, click OK to release the playlist version. Optionally, select Send notification to notify all user groups authorized to receive messages about this playlist.
Request a playlist release
If you want to publish changes in a playlist version but you're not authorized to release it, you must request the release.
To do so, perform the following steps:
Go to Content > Playlist.
Select the playlist that you want to release.
Click
Request release of the highlighted version to inform authorized users.
The playlist status display changes to orange if a release is pending. Once an authorized user has released your playlist, the status display disappears and the playlist is transferred to the player.
