Manage tags

Tags allow you to control which content can be used in which playlists, when the content is displayed, and its visibility.

Optionally, you can organize tags in tag groups to ensure a better overview.

Create tag groups

To create tag groups, perform the following steps:

Go to Administration > Content.
Click on the tab Tags.
Select Tags and click + Create tag.
In the Create tag dialog, enter a name for the tag group.
Select one of the following tag types:
- Live tag
- Sync tag
- Standard
- SOC
To add or remove user permissions for the tag group, use the arrows or drag-and-drop.
Click Save to save your changes.

Create tag group

To create tags, perform the following steps:

Go to Administration > Content.
Click on the tab Tags.
Under Tags, select the tag group that you want to add a tag to and click + Create tag.
In the Create tag dialog, enter a name for the tag.
If you work with SOC tags, specify the following settings:
- Visible from: Specify the date and time from which content with this tag is visible.
- Always visible for: Use the arrows or drag-and-drop to add or remove users who can see this tag.
Click Save to save your changes.

Create tags

To edit existing tag groups and tags, perform the following steps:

Go to Administration > Content.
Click on the tab Tags.
Under Tags, select the tag group or tag that you want to edit and click Edit tag.
In the Edit tag dialog, make your changes as required.
Click Save to save your changes.

To copy tag groups and tags, perform the following steps:

Go to Administration > Content.
Click on the tab Tags.
Under Tags, select the tag group or tag that you want to edit and click Copy tag.
In the Copy tag window, make your changes as required.
Click Save to save your changes.

To delete tag groups and tags, perform the following steps:

Go to Administration > Content.
Click on the tab Categories.
Under Categories, select the category that you want to copy and click Delete tag.
In the subsequent dialog, confirm with Delete.
