Configure the IXM One news center

You can configure the IXM One news center to suit your needs.

Configure your inbox

To configure how many unread messages you see in your inbox, perform the following steps:

Go to Dashboard > News center.
Switch to the Settings tab.
Under Inbox > Display the last few days, specify the number of days for which you want to display unread messages.

To configure how you want to receive different types of messages, perform the following steps:

Go to Dashboard > News center.
Switch to the Settings tab.
Under Subscriptions, select one or both of the following options next to a message type:
- Message: Notification in IXM One.
- E-mail: Notification via email.

Note
Administrators set the user group permissions that specify who can send and receive different messages.

By default, you can work with the following message types:

Corporate news	Manually created messages that can be sent to all user groups and locations. Requires: Permission to send messages Permission to receive messages and messages to the location
New content	Spot notifications with one or more spots attached. In IXM One messages, the spots are displayed as thumbnails. In emails, the spot names are listed. Requires: Write permission in the spot group
Playlist released	Informative message when a playlist is released. Requires: Permission to receive messages for the playlist Permission to receive messages for a location that contains the player with the released playlist Location users who are assigned a player with the shared playlist The shared playlist is assigned to a player with an email address
Player offline	Automatic message if a player goes offline containing the player's name, location, and last access date. You can add other recipients like IT support through location permissions. Requires: E-mail addresses specified for the player Message type must be enabled on the server
Player offline report	Report of all offline players that you have permission to see via email. Requires: The report must be enabled on the server.
