⚙️ For administrators
You can set user group permissions for various features of IXM One. Which features are available to you depends on your setup.
Categories
You can set the following user group permissions for categories:
Read | Members of the user group can view and add or edit players assigned to it if they have write permission for the player's location. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the category's properties and create child categories. |
Data sources
You can set the following user group permissions for data sources:
Read | Members of the user group can view the data source. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the data source. |
Location
You can set the following user group permissions for locations:
Read | Members of the user group can view the location. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the location's properties and create child locations. |
Receive message | Members of the user group can receive messages sent to this location. |
Media groups
You can set the following user group permissions for media groups:
Read | Members of the user group can view the media group and the files contained therein. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the settings of a media group. |
Create | Members of the user group can create media groups and add/edit media. |
Delete | Members of the user group can delete media groups. |
Order lists
You can set the following user group permissions for order lists:
Client | Members of the user group can work with spot editing orders. |
Administration | Members of the user group can assign roles for order processing. |
Playlists
You can set the following user group permissions for playlists:
Read | Members of the user group can view the playlist. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the playlist and its content. |
Copy content | Members of the user group can duplicate the playlist and it's content. |
Release | Members of the user group can release playlists. |
Receive message | Members of the user group can receive messages for this playlist. |
Program schemes
You can set the following user group permissions for program schemes:
Read | Members of the user group can view a program scheme. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit a program scheme's properties and content. |
Edit content | Members of the user group can add, edit, and remove playlists from the program scheme, but not change its properties. |
Spot groups and template groups
You can set the following user group permissions for spot groups or template groups:
Read | Members of the user group can view the spot group and it's content. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the spot group. |
Create | Members of the user group can create and manage spot groups. |
Delete | Members of the user group can delete the spot group. |
Edit template | Members of the user group can create and edit templates. |
Create links | Members of the user group can create spot links in this group. |
Widget groups
You can set the following user group permissions for widget groups:
Read | Members of the user group can view the widget group. |
Write | Members of the user group can edit the widget group. |
Create | Members of the user group can create widget groups. |
Delete | Members of the user group can delete widget groups. |
