Assign data sources

Data sources are not available by default. Please contact your Grassfish partner to learn more.

You can assign data sources to a spot to include external data such as weather information or news.

To do so, perform the following steps:

1. In IXM One, go to Content > Playlist.

2. In the Spot groups pane, select the spot group where your spot is located.

3. Hover over the spot and click   Edit properties.

4. Switch to the Data sources tab.

5. Click on Add data source.

6. In the Add data source window, select your data source from the dropdown menu.  

7. Click Save to add the data source.

8. Optionally, select Apply to spot instances to add the data source to all identical spots in all playlists.

9. Optionally, click Add filter to refine the data source. The available options depend on the data source and data type.

10.  Click Save to save your changes.
