Note
Archiving must be activated in your system. If this hasn't happened yet, please contact your Grassfish partner for more information.
To keep your content up-to-date and reduce loading times, IXM One can automatically archive content after a specified period of time.
Users with appropriate permissions can also archive content and content groups manually.
Activate archiving
To activate and configure archiving, perform the following steps:
Go to Administration > Global > Archive settings.
Under Spot archive, configure the following settings:
Activate
Select to enable archiving for spots and spot groups.
Archive spots after x months
Specify after how many months spots are automatically archived.
Archive spot groups after x months
Specify after how many months spot groups are automatically archived.
Allow archive exceptions
Select to allow users with appropriate permissions to manually archive, edit, and reactivate spots and spot groups.
Under Media archive, configure the following settings:
Activate
Select to enable archiving for media and media groups.
Archive media after x months
Specify after how many months media is automatically archived.
Archive media groups after x months
Specify after how many months media groups are automatically archived.
Allow archive exceptions
Select to allow users with appropriate permissions to manually archive, edit, and reactivate media and media groups.
Click Save to save your changes.
