You can preview complete playlists to check how they will look after publishing. In addition, the preview provides information on the playlist content.
Prerequisites
Consider the following prerequisites before you start a preview:
The preview is only available, if a screen layout, program scheme, and content are assigned to a player.
The preview opens in a new browser window.
Loading large playlists, may take more time. Just leave the preview window open until all content has been loaded.
Settings like time control, holiday lists, or categories are considered in the preview.
Content quality may vary in preview to reduce response time. Players display content in its original format and native quality.
The preview for website spots is only available if the website can be displayed in an iframe.
Preview a playlist
To preview a playlist, perform the following steps:
Go to Content > Playlist.
In the Playlist pane, select the playlist that you want to preview.
In the Content of playlist pane, click Preview.
Use the following options in the preview window as required:
Player
Click Select to select a player for the preview.
Pause the preview.
Continue the preview.
Go to the beginning of the current spot.
Go to the next spot.
Turn sound on.
Turn sound off.
Specify resolution and quality of the preview using following settings:
L (low resolution)
M (medium resolution)
H (high resolution)
This setting must be enabled in your network.
