⚙️ For administrators
As an administrator, you can specify who the system notifies via email in the event of system errors.
You can set up notifications for different components and services, as well as for multiple email recipients.
Components and services
The components and services available depend on your system configuration and the connected devices. You may see the following options:
All modules | Notifies users of all types of errors. |
Player | Notifies users of player errors. |
Overseer | Notifies users of errors in the Grassfish Overseer service, which monitors players, various modules, and spot playback. |
Internet Receiver | Notifies users of errors in the Grassfish Internet Receiver service, responsible for the data transfer between the Grassfish Server and client. |
System | Notifies users of errors that concern the system as a whole. |
Set up notifications
To set up notifications, perform the following steps:
Go to Administration > Global > Notification.
To set up notifications, enter an email address in the Email field. Optionally, click + Add to add additional email addresses.
Click Save to save your changes.
