Use the extra properties of your playlists to specify how to play its spots. To do so, perform the following steps:
In IXM One, go to Channels > Program scheme.
Select the program scheme that contains your playlist.
In the Standard playlists or Event playlists pane, hover over the playlist and select
Edit.In the Edit playlist properties window, switch to the Extras tab.
Configure the following settings as required:
Background color
Select a background color for the display on which your playlist runs in one of the following ways:
Click into the color box to select a color and adjust the tone.
Specify RGB values or a hexadecimal code. For example: FF0000
Note that the color display depends on the content size and transitions between playlists and spots.
Spot transition
Select what happens on the display when switching from one spot to the next:
Standard: there's a short break between spots. The duration depends on the player and spot type. During the break, the background color is visible. Duration: 350 ms
Seamless: by default, the spots transition seamlessly. Duration: 0 ms
In addition, the Windows or Linux Player supports the following options:
Crossfade: the previous spot fades out and the next spot fades in at the same time. Duration: 1000 ms
Fly: the next spot moves into view from right to left. Duration: 1000 ms
FadeFly: the previous spot moves out of view to the left and fades out, the next spot fades in after. Duration: 1000 ms
Scale: the next spot starts in the middle of the screen and increases in size while the previous spot decreases. Duration: 1000 ms
ScaleFly: the next spot starts in the middle of the screen and increases in size while the previous spot moves out of view from right to left. Duration: 1000 ms
Drop: the previous spot fades out with a water drop effect. Duration: 1000 ms
Pixelate: the resolution of the previous spot becomes coarser until unrecognizable while the next spot starts with a coarse resolution until clearly visible. Duration: 1500 ms.
TilesIn: the next spot is split into 4x4 squares and glides into view from right to left while the previous spot stays visible in the background. Duration: 1500 ms
TilesOut: the previous spot is split into 4x4 squares and moves out of view while the next spot is visible in the background. Duration: 1500 ms
TurnPage: the previous spot turns like the page of a book while the next spot is visible in the background. Duration: 1500 ms
Zoom: the next spot starts off at a size of 120% and decreases to its original size while the previous spot fades out. Duration: 1000 ms
Play only x spots from the playlist
Select and set the number of spots that will be played per playlist run.
Suppose you have two playlists in the program scheme, each containing ten spots. For playlist one, the number of spots per run is five, playlist two plays without restrictions. In this case, the player plays the first five spots of playlist one and then the entire playlist two. The next runs starts with the next five spots of playlist one (six to ten), followed by the entire playlist two.
Play in random sequence
Select to play spots from the playlist in random order.
Click Save to save your changes.
