Configure basic HTML spots

IXM One can display HTML content as HTML spots.

Note
Players use their locally installed browsers to display web content. Make sure that the websites are optimized for the browser used on the player.

Configure a basic HTML spot file

First, you must create a ZIP file that contains all required files that the player needs to open and display the website correctly.

Configure the basic HTML spot file as follows:

Paste the HTML spot into a ZIP file with the following file extension html.zip.
The ZIP file must contain the file index.html as the home page for the website.
The ZIP file can contain subordinate file folders.
The website is accessed on the player via the following path: file:///.../index.html

Upload basic HTML spots

To upload a basic HTML spot to IXM One, perform the following steps:

Compress an HTML website into a ZIP file.
Upload the ZIP file to IXM One.
Assign the spot to a playlist.

The system distributes the spot to the player, where the files are unzipped.
