Use DOOH conflict tags to ensure that booking items that contain certain spots aren't played in a row.
How conflict tags work
When working with conflict tags, keep the following in mind:
Conflict tags allow you to control ad placement, for example, to prevent competitor ads from being shown back-to-back.
You must first create conflict tag groups and then add conflict tags (child tags) to them.
When creating a DOOH booking, you can only select tag groups that contain conflict tags (child tags).
When you add a conflict tag group to a booking, all associated child tags are added automatically.
You can add as many child tags as needed for organization.
Note
Only conflict tag groups are transferred to players. Even if you assign only an individual conflict tag to a booking, the associated conflict tag group is crucial for preventing back-to-back playouts.
Create conflict tags
To create conflict tags, perform the following steps:
Go to Administration > DOOH.
Select the DOOH tags tab.
Select Conflict Tags.
Click + at the bottom right of the window.
In the Create conflict tag group window, enter a name for the conflict tag group.
To assign permissions, drag and drop user groups from the right to the left pane and select the following rights:
Read: The user group only has read rights.
Write: The user group can edit the conflict tag group.
Click Save to save your changes.
Select the new conflict tag group and click +.
In the Create conflict tag dialog, enter a name for the conflict tag. Create all required conflict tags within a conflict tag group.
Click Save to save your changes.
Assign conflict tags
Once you’ve created conflict tags, you can assign them your DOOH booking items. Perform the following steps:
Go to DOOH > Booking.
In the Bookings pane, double-click on your booking.
In the Booking window, double-click on your booking item.
In the Edit booking item window, select the Tags tab.
Under Conflict tags, click + Add.
Drag and drop your conflict tag group or conflict tag from Available to Assigned.
Click Apply.
Click Save to save your changes to the booking item.
Click Save & Close.
Repeat the same steps for other booking items that contain spots that shouldn't be played right after one another.
