In IXM One, you can use category and location attributes to create targeted content for specific target groups.
Assign content to specific categories and locations to determine which content is played on which screens.
Use the display settings to assign categories or locations to every spot.
Prerequisites
Note the following prerequisites:
You can assign locations or categories of any level to the list view.
If your location structure is organized by regions and cities, assigning a location to a specific region means that the content will be displayed in all cities within that region.
A category block can contain any number of categories, but only one location.
Locations and categories within a category block are connected with 'AND', category blocks with 'OR'.
To create an 'OR' connection you must add a new category block.
Assign locations and categories
To assign locations and categories, perform the following steps:
Go to Content > Playlist.
In the playlist pane, select the playlist.
In the Content of playlist pane, hover over a spot and click
Edit display properties.Switch to Categories. All available locations and categories are shown in tree view in the right side of the window. You can switch between locations and categories via the icons.
Drag a location or category into the category block.
Add new category blocks
To add a new category block, perform the following steps:
Go to Content > Playlist.
In the playlist pane, select the playlist.
In the Content of playlist pane, hover over a spot and click
Edit display properties.Switch to Categories.
Click Add new category block.
Drag the desired location or category into this category block.
Remove category blocks
To remove a category block, perform the following steps:
Go to Content > Playlist.
In the playlist pane, select the playlist.
In the Content of playlist pane, hover over a spot and click
Edit display properties.Switch to Categories.
Click Remove category block to remove a category block.
To remove individual locations or categories from a category block, click X next to the location or category.
