Set up the Vending app

The Vending app is the user interface on the vending machine’s touch screen. All the necessary configurations are undertaken in the IXM Platform.

1. Upload the spot to the IXM Platform.
2. Assign the spot to the vending machine.

Configure the vending spot

The vending spot is configured with the HTML-Wizard in the IXM Platform. Select a spot from the pane Selectable spots (Content > Playlist) and click Edit > Edit content in the bottom bar.

Set up a split screen and an overlay

The vending machine’s screen can be split into two areas via screen layouts in the IXM Platform so that the vending spot is played in the bottom half of the screen. The result is a screen resolution for every split. The resolution of the spot is defined in the HTML Wizard via the node Spot in the attribute Resolution.

Screen saver playlist

In addition, you can define an overlay for the entire monitor or parts of it via event playlists in the IXM Platform. This overlay is shown in idle mode.
