Samsung Tizen Embedded Media Player are All-In-One playback devices combining both player and display functionality in one device. Grassfish supports Samsung Tizen devices of the series QMR and QBR and thus supplies a cost-efficient, scalable, and reliable solution for digital signage networks.
Grassfish complements Samsung Tizen Embedded Media Players with extensive IXM Platform functionality:
- Automatically distribute content across several screens and engage your target audience at the right moment and location.
- Design, create and publish playlists via drag and drop.
- Structure your content using tags, meta information, or specific categories, to address a collection of screens or individual players.
- Manage your devices using monitoring and reporting tools.
- Make use of multi-tier architecture and extended user / rights management.
Within a multi-device network, Samsung Tizen Embedded Media Player can be operated simultaneously with other Grassfish supported players.
Hardware
Samsung Tizen Embedded Media Player are fanless, energy-efficient and cost-efficient devices highly suitable for video playback.
The models QM32R, QM43R, QM55R, QM65R, QM75R as well as QB13R & QB24R have been tested and are officially supported.
The Grassfish Player Software runs as a JavaScript application on Samsung Tizen Embedded Media Players and enables you to manage your screen network using the familiar Grassfish IXM Platform interface.
