Spot

Resolution

Specify the width and height of the spot in pixels.

Spot duration

Set the spot duration to 0.

The playback duration is determined via Display duration. The spot will stop on its own after displaying the news.

Background

Select to set a background color.

Click in the color selection box to select a color.

Data source

Enter the name of your data source.

To establish the connection, it must be identical to the description in the UDC data source.

Sync identifier

Specify the identifier to link the receiver spot to the sender spot.

The identifier must be identical in all synced spots.

Static content

Image

Click Add medium and select an image to display if there’s no UDC data.

Headline

Enter a headline for the static message that appears if there’s no UDC data.

Message text

Enter text for the static message that appears if there’s no UDC data.

Background color enabled

Select to set a background color for the spot.

Background color

Select a background color for the spot.

Background image enabled

Select to enable background image.

If you have a background image, the background color is not displayed.

Click Add medium and select a background image.

Style

Select a layout style:

• Image: displays the news image and static image if selected. 

• Headline: displays the news headline and static headline if specified. 

• Text: displays the news text and static message text if specified. 

Padding

Specify the padding between the selected element and the edge of the cell.

Size

Select how to scale the image:

• Cover layout cell: the image completely covers the layout cell, some parts of the image may be cut off.

• Show complete image: the image is displayed entirely.

Style

Style the headline using font, color, size and more options.

Text shadow

Select to display the news text with a shadow.

Vertical text alignment

Select the vertical alignment of the text:  

• Top

• Middle

• Bottom

Max. length

Specify the maximum length of the text.

If the text exceeds the length, it’s truncated with an ellipsis (…).
