In following, an example of a locker system with a master and slave is described:

Vending app (IXM Platform)

The Vending app does not distinguish between products in the locker or in the vending machine. The user thus has free choice from all available products.

Fill locker compartments with products

An own application is displayed for the filling of lockers in the route driver screen:

1. Click the tab [Name of the locker] in the route driver screen. The locker’s slots are displayed.
   
   
2. Click the button RESTOCK in the desired slot. A popup window with information on the desired compartment opens.
   
   
3. Click on ADD PRODUCT. The locker compartment opens, and the following window is shown:
   
   
4. Place the product in the locker compartment and close it.
5. Confirm that the product is in the locker compartment by clicking on YES. As an alternative, click on NO to cancel the process and return to the main screen.
   
   

The corresponding slot is highlighted in green in the main window and the button EMPTY LOCKER is displayed. Use this button to remove a product from the locker compartment when desired.

Remove a product from a locker compartment

1. Click the button EMPTY LOCKER in the desired slot.
   A popup window with information on the desired slot opens.
   
   
2. Click on REMOVE PRODUCT. 
3. The locker compartment opens, and the following window is displayed:
   
   
4. Remove the product from the open locker compartment and close it again.
5. Confirm that you removed the product from the locker compartment by clicking on YES. As an alternative, click on NO to end the process and return to the main screen.
   

The corresponding slot is shown as empty in the main window and the button RESTOCK is shown. Use this button to fill the locker compartment with a product.
