Spot

Resolution

Select one of the following spot resolutions: 

• 1920x1080

• 1080x1920

Spot duration

Set the spot duration to 0.

The playback duration is determined via Display duration. The spot will stop on its own after displaying the weather.

Background

Select to set a background color of the spot.

Click in the color selection box to select a color.

Display duration

Specify the display duration of the spot in seconds.

The duration doesn’t include animations and idle time. 

Number of days

Specify for how many days including today the weather data is displayed.

Weather data

Data source

Enter the name of your data source.

To establish the connection, it must be identical to the description in the UDC data source.

Validity tolerance

Specify how many hours the weather data is valid.

This period serves as a buffer in case there are delays in data transmission. If no current information is available when moving to the next day, the current data is displayed for the specified period.

Language & units

Language

Select the language of the displayed weather data:

• German

• English

Date format

Specify a format for the displayed weather data. Possible values:

• MM/DD/YEAR (03/05/2025)

• DD.MM.YEAR (05. 03. 2025)

• D MMM YEAR (5 MAR 2025)

The date also depends on the selected language.

Temperature

Select a temperature unit: 

• °C: degrees Celsius

• °F: degrees Fahrenheit

Speed

Select a wind speed unit: 

• km/h: kilometers per hour

• mph: miles per hour

Background 

Background color enabled

Select to set a background color for the spot.

Background color

Select a background color for the spot. 

Background image enabled

Select to enable a background image.

If you have a background image, the background color is not displayed.

Background image

Click Add medium and select a background image.

Settings of header

Show

Select to display a header. 

By default, it’s the location of the player.

Replace with

Enter text that replaces the default header.

Select a theme for the header:

• Dark

• Light

Icons

Specify whether to display weather icons such as clouds, sun, or snow:

• Hide icons

• Small icons

• Large icons 

Show weather images

Select to display weather data with images.

Show box shadow

Select to display a shadow.

Animations

Delay (s)

Specify how long to delay animations in seconds.

Style of start animation

Select a style for the start animation. 

Check the spot preview to test the individual animation styles.

Stagger time of start animation (s)

Specify how long to delay start animations in seconds.
If you enter 0, all elements are simultaneously displayed and animated.

Style of end animation

Select a style for the end animation.

Check the spot preview to test the individual animation styles.

Stagger time of end animation (s)

Specify how long to delay end animations in seconds.
If you enter 0, all elements are simultaneously animated and faded out.
