Create playback reports

Prev Next

You can create playback reports for bookings that are not completed as a whole but contain completed booking items.

This allows you to create reports on demand and for long-time bookings while they're still running.

Note

Playback reports are only available for digital products.

How to use playback reports

Note the following information when you work with DOOH playback reports:

  • Depending on your set up, a print dialog may appear after you click on Report Digital. If there's no dialog, the system automatically prints a report that includes only completed booking items.

  • If your booking contains multi-content spots like the Random Media Viewer or Planned Media Viewer and they're configured correctly, the playback report contains playback counts for each video.

  • Make sure the spot duration of the spot, booking item, and media match. Otherwise, the report may not be generated.

  • Each player sends their data to the server at a specific interval. Wait until the player has sent the data to the server for an accurate report.

Troubleshooting: Inaccurate DOOH data

Each player submits their data to the server at a specific interval.

If a player hasn’t sent its data yet, the data in the DOOH playback report could be inaccurate.

To change the player's data transmission interval, follow these steps:

  1. Open the player configuration or the configuration group:

    • For an individual player, go to Channels > Location. Double-click on your player and select Edit next to Configuration in the Edit player window.

    • For a configuration group, go to Administration > Player > Configuration groups and double-click on the configuration group.

  2. In the Edit configuration group window, select Display extended modules.

  3. Under Modules, select InternetReceiver.

  4. Find the setting send spot statistics (interval in seconds).

  5. Change the number of seconds as desired.

  6. Click Save to save your changes.
