Create a text container

To add text to your HTML Composer spot, perform the following steps:

1. In the Elements pane, select   Text.

2. Use the mouse to draw a text container on the canvas.

3. To edit the container's display name, click   Edit.

4. In the Edit element window, enter a name and click Save.

5. Click into the container and enter your text.

6. Specify the container properties.

7. Optionally, create and configure pages.

8. Use the following options to design your text:

   Font selection	Select a font from the dropdown menu. IXM One standard installation includes freely available fonts. If you want to add custom fonts, please contact your Grassfish partner.
   Font size	Click on the arrows to enhance or decrease the font size or enter a number.
   Font color	Select a color or enter RGB values or a HEX code.
   Line height	Click on the arrows to enhance or decrease the line height.
   Character spacing	Click on the arrows to enhance or decrease the character spacing, or enter a number.
   Edge distance	Click on the arrows to enhance or decrease the distance to the margin of the element window on the canvas, or enter a number.
   Text styles	Style your text with the available options such as bold, italic, or alignment.
   Clear content	Click to clear the text field.

9. Click Save to save your changes.
