The Grassfish platform covers all common integration patterns, from classic web services to modern REST APIs. It can also be adapted to customer-specific protocols and formats via plugins and additional services.
REST/HTTPS
REST/HTTPS (JSON) is the standard for all new APIs (GUI API, Player API, Versioned API, AdServing API, etc.).
SOAP/Web services
SOAP/Web services (XML) can be supported via adapters or plugins, especially in legacy or custom integrations.
File-based integrations
File-based integrations (CSV, JSON, XML, Excel) are handled by the local importer or UDC.
