Follow this quick tutorial to make your first API call. In this tutorial, you’ll log a user into the IXM Platform to retrieve their session ID.

Prerequisites

For the tutorial, you need an IXM Platform account and the user credentials for it.

Retrieve your session ID

To retrieve your session ID, perform the following steps:

1. Click on one of the API references to open it. We recommend to use the latest version.

2. Go to Users > Log a user into the system.

3. In the Body, enter your IXM Platform application name, username, and password.

4. Optionally, enter your ApplicationGuid. If you don’t have one, just leave it as is.

5. Check the Response to retrieve your session ID.
