These unique IDs ensure that the correct item is addressed, as the names of bookings and other items in IXM One can change. ## Get content IDs Depending on how you added content such as spots to IXM One, you can find the content IDs that you need for your API requests in two different ways: directly in IXM One or via the IXM One API. ### Find IDs in IXM One If you’ve manually uploaded the content to IXM One, you can find the ID there. For example, you can find the spot ID in the spot details. ![Getting the spot ID from the spot details.](https://cdn.document360.io/e2b87f73-d9f5-43cb-8182-2641762664fd/Images/Documentation/spot_id.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T12%3A31%3A42Z&se=2026-10-26T13%3A31%3A42Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=QrwPkwvKyF2TJVNCQjYraDfdzpn81VuUa34Ce630ptc%3D) ### Find IDS via API If you've uploaded content to IXM One via the API, you can also query the ID via the API. [Learn more about the IXM One API](https://docs.grassfish.com/grassfish-api/). ## Get product and client IDs To find the product and client IDs needed for your API request, perform the following steps: 1. In IXM One, open the editing window of the product or client whose ID you need. 2. To open the developer tools in your browser, press **F12**. Alternatively, open them from the browser menu. 3. In the developer tools window, select the **Network** tab. 4. Read the ID from the list and write it down. ![Getting the client ID from the developer tools.](https://cdn.document360.io/e2b87f73-d9f5-43cb-8182-2641762664fd/Images/Documentation/client_id(1).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-26T12%3A31%3A42Z&se=2026-10-26T13%3A31%3A42Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=QrwPkwvKyF2TJVNCQjYraDfdzpn81VuUa34Ce630ptc%3D) API means application programming interface.
