# Use options

There are two option menus in IXM Aqua that serve different purposes:

****Vertical three-dot menu****

The vertical dots in the table header allow you to show or hide columns in the current view.

- Select columns in the dropdown menu to display them.
- Deselect columns in the dropdown menu to hide them.

These settings are unique to each user and visible only to you.

****Horizontal three-dot menu****

The horizontal three-dot menu is located to the right of a table. It may also be available in other places, such as pop-up windows.

- Select one of the options from the dropdown menu, such as **Edit** or **Play**.
- The options displayed depend on the item.
