# Use the media library drawer

The media library drawer appears where quick access to your [media library](https://docs.grassfish.com/ixm-aqua/docs/media-library) is needed, for example when creating a broadcast or in a screen playlist view.

The media drawer allows you to quickly drag and drop media into a playlist or a template using the following options:

- Use the search field at the top of the drawer to search for media by name or tag.
- Use the tab bar below the search to switch between different media types (image, videos, signs).
