What is Share of Voice?
Share of Voice (SOV) is a set of rules that ensures that a scheduled content type receives its allocated time in a loop that consists of a mix of multiple content types.
You can manage Share of Voice through configurations in your account.
How does Share of Voice work?
Share of Voice requires the following configuration steps:
Content types: Create content types to categorize content according to your needs. They can be designed in any way you like.
Content mix: Use different content types to create a content mix and assign each type its own share of the total loop.
Screen assignment: Assign the content mix to the screens of your choice. These screens will follow the selected content mix and play the different content types accordingly. Make sure the screens are set to SOV screen types.
Broadcast: Create a Share of Voice broadcast. This works like a regular broadcast, except you must select a content type. Only screens whose content mix includes the selected content type will be addressed and play the media you include in the broadcast according to the content mix.
Roles and users: Assign specific content types to a user role so that content can only be scheduled within a specific slot in the playlist. Learn more ...
