# Invite a new user

To add a new user, perform the following steps:

1. In the sidebar, click **Users & Roles**.
2. Click **Add new** in the header.
3. Select **Invite user**.
4. Specify the following user settings:
  - **Email**: Enter the user's email address. This will be used for the invitation and as login credentials.
  - **Role**: Select a role from the dropdown menu.
  - **Select locations**: Select which locations the user will be able to access. Administrators can access all locations, selection is not necessary.
5. Click **Send invite** to send an invitation to the email address.
