# Edit a tag

You can change the name and color of an existing tag.

> 
> Any changes you make are updated across all instances of that tag on your account.

To edit a tag, perform the following steps:

1. In the sidebar, click **Tags**.
2. Click **Options** next to the tag you want to edit.
3. Select **Edit**.
4. Edit the tag name and color as desired.
5. Click **Save** to save your changes.
