# Delete a content type

You can delete a content type if you no longer need it. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. In the sidebar, click **Share of Voice**.
2. Switch to the **Content types** tab.
3. Click **Options** next to the content type you want to delete*.*
4. Select **Delete**.
5. In the subsequent dialog, click **Delete** to confirm.
