# Create a new account

As a partner, you can create a new account for another user. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. Log in to IXM Aqua.
2. 3. In the **New Account** window, enter the following information:
  - **Connect to customer**: Select an existing customer from the list. This links the account to the customer.
  - **Account name**: Enter a name for the account.
  - **First name**: Optionally, enter the first name of the account owner.
  - **Last name**: Optionally, enter the last name of the account owner.
  - **E-mail**: Optionally, enter the email address of the account owner.
4. Click **Create** to create the account.
