You can configure multi-factor authentication (MFA) in your account. That means you can activate or deactivate it.
What is MFA
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requires users to verify their identity using two or more independent factors, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized access. With IXM Aqua, you can authenticate using an app such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator.
Note
You can’t configure login settings such as MFA if they’re managed by your organization.
Activate MFA
To activate MFA for your account, perform the following steps:
At the bottom of the sidebar, click on your user name.
Click Configure MFA.
Select Activate MFA.
Follow the instructions on the screen to set up MFA with your authenticator app.
Deactivate MFA
You can deactivate MFA for your account. Note that your account will no longer be protected by MFA if you do so.
To deactivate MFA, perform the following steps:
At the bottom of the sidebar, click on your user name.
Click Configure MFA.
Select Deactivate MFA.
Click Close to close the window.
Troubleshooting
Should you experience any problems with your MFA login, please contact your IXM Aqua administrator and ask them to reset it for you.
