For more information, contact your Grassfish account manager. Data importers allow you to import data from external sources into IXM One and display it on screens, embedded and configured in spots. For example, you can import product and pricing data from your product database, weather forecasts and news for display in a public place, or calendar data for display in front of meeting rooms. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e2b87f73-d9f5-43cb-8182-2641762664fd/Images/Documentation/work-with-data-importers-image-lij6w9gi.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T19%3A46%3A25Z&se=2026-11-06T20%3A46%3A25Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=PbGE2B1GTCcXji1%2FZaIcfkoQALmcgAIW13XXoXGT%2BYs%3D) ## Data import process Once data importers have been [activated](/grassfish/docs/activate-data-importers) in your network, you can create and maintain them as required.
