When you create a new player in IXM One, there are two possible scenarios for the handling of edition keys and default configuration groups. **Scenario 1: You have not assigned a player configuration to the player during creation or before initialization** In this scenario, the following outcomes are possible: - There is a default player configuration group for the transmitted edition key that is assigned. - There is no default player configuration group for the transmitted edition key, so no group is assigned. **Scenario 2: You have assigned a player configuration to the player during creation or before initialization** In this scenario, the following outcomes are possible: - The submitted edition key matches the assigned player configuration group edition key. There's no change. - The submitted edition key doesn't match the assigned player configuration group edition key: - The assigned player configuration is removed in IXM One. - There is a default player configuration group for the transmitted edition key that is assigned. - There is no default player configuration group for the transmitted edition key, so no group is assigned
