# Work with media

Media such as images and videos are an important part of your spots. When you work with media, you can:

- Record and edit media to use it in HTML Composer or HTML Wizard spots,
- Upload ready-made media into IXM One.
- Keep your media organized, use media groups.

## Access media

To access your media in IXM One, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Content > Media management**.
2. In the **Media groups** pane, select a media group.
3. Check the **Selectable media** pane to access your media.

## Manage selectable media

You can use the following features to manage your selectable media:

If the panel is not visible by default, click the arrow to open it. Click the arrow again to close it. |

## Upload media

Upload media files to use them in IXM One and add them to your spots.

To do so, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Content > Media management**.
2. Select the media group that you want to add media to.
3. In the **Selectable media** pane, click **Upload** and upload your media file with the [upload manager](/grassfish/docs/manage-uploads-1).
