# Manage additional player data

> Additional data must be enabled in IXM One. Please contact your Grassfish partner for more information.

You can add additional player-specific information that is important for your use.

- This could be the name of the room in which the player is located, a shop ID, or a URL.
- Which fields are available for adding additional data depends on your system.

To add additional data, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Channels > Location**.
2. Select the location of the player that you want to edit.
3. In the **Managing players** pane, double-click on the player or select it and click on **Edit**.
4. Switch to the **Additional data** tab and enter your data.
5. Click **Save** to save your changes.
