If auto-rotate is correctly disabled in the settings, the Android Player is locked in portrait mode and can’t be rotated to landscape. This results in an unusual display when the ePaper screen is rotated to landscape: the screen content is displayed in portrait mode, even though it is in landscape orientation. ****Solution**** If firmware FB01.10 is already installed on the device, please perform the following steps to solve this issue: 1. Open the display settings of your Android device. 2. Open the advanced settings. 3. Enable auto-rotate so that the G-sensor can rotate the Android Player. 4. Position the device in the desired location. 5. Apply the desired player settings. As long as the device remains in the same position, the content will be displayed correctly. ****Alternative workaround**** Alternatively, flash an earlier firmware version using RK tool to revert to an earlier version and reinstall our software. We’ve tested this with FB01.01 and were unable to reproduce the error. Download the firmware and tools for FB01.01 from Philips: - Firmware: [https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/y6mw2yqqwl8jfjcvm0ley/Philips_25BDL4150I_PX30S_T_FB01.01_20230817.img?rlkey=k61gkbf8c0z50aorajqvlh5zw&e=1&st=w7hqnn9r&dl=0](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/y6mw2yqqwl8jfjcvm0ley/Philips_25BDL4150I_PX30S_T_FB01.01_20230817.img?rlkey=k61gkbf8c0z50aorajqvlh5zw&e=1&st=w7hqnn9r&dl=0) - Tools and instructions: [https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/imjukl41fs46p7na8iroq/RKDevTool_v3.13_for_window_eng.zip?dl=0&e=2&rlkey=keqkqi4pys6n2n4qttm0qxqre&st=3675z1gd](https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/imjukl41fs46p7na8iroq/RKDevTool_v3.13_for_window_eng.zip?dl=0&e=2&rlkey=keqkqi4pys6n2n4qttm0qxqre&st=3675z1gd) ## Supported spot types The Grassfish Android Player supports the following spot types on Philips 25BDL4050i devices: - JPG - PNG - MP4 - HTML5 (HTML Composer and ASC) - Website **Minimum duration** You must set the spot duration to at least two minutes. The display rendering time is 36 seconds. Please note that in real operation this is longer anyway. **Spot playback** After the spot starts playing, videos and HTML spots display a screenshot for three seconds and website spots for 15 seconds. > [!NOTE] > Note > > For more information on configuration features, see the [Android Player operation manual](https://docs.grassfish.com/docs/manage-android-settings) and the [e-paper specification](https://docs.grassfish.com/docs/specification-philips-tableaux-e-paper). ## Prepare the PC To prepare the PC, perform the following steps: 1. Download and extract the installation package. 2. Connect the Philips 25BDL4050i device to your PC via USB-A to Micro-USB. 3. Wait until your PC has detected the device. 4. To check your Android debug bridge (adb) connection, open a command prompt on your PC and switch to the directory that contains the installation package. 5.
