# Import data

Once you've set up your data importer, it imports data from its external source to IXM One.

To import data manually, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Administration > Content > Data importer**.
2. In the **Data importer** pane, select the data importer whose data you want to import.
3. Click **Tools > Start import**.
