# Export spots

You can export spots from IXM One using the export manager.

### Prerequisites

Before you start exporting spots, note the following requirements and limitations:

- You need permission to export spots and playlists.
- Some spot types can't be exported.
- Some released spots and playlists can't be exported.
- Spots and media with SOC tags can't be exported.
- Invalid spots can't be exported.
- Your IXM One language determines the language of the column headers when exporting playlist details to Microsoft Excel.

## Export spots

To export spots from IXM One, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Content > Playlist**.
2. In the **Selectable spots** pane, select one or more spots that you want to export.
3. Click **Tools > Export as spot**.
4. In the export manager, click **Export** to create the export file.
5. In the subsequent list, select the spot file and click **Export status**.
6. In the subsequent window, select the spot file and click **Download**.
