# Configure upload manager

You can configure general settings for the upload manager to determine how an upload happens and whether you'll be notified about it.

To do so, perform the following steps:

1. In the **Upload manager** window, click on ![](https://cdn.document360.io/e2b87f73-d9f5-43cb-8182-2641762664fd/Images/Documentation/configure-upload-manager-image-fqt9jlvb.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T20%3A17%3A39Z&se=2026-11-06T21%3A17%3A39Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=HChzW%2BX%2FiHo8cGLXM2GQEfahpRMi2w1vmEUol2l97hI%3D) **Settings** in the top right corner.
2. Optionally, select **Start upload immediately after selection of spots** to start an upload automatically instead of manually.
3. Optionally, select **Notify about finished uploads** to receive a notification in IXM One.
