# Configure live tags per playlist

You can add live tags directly to a spot in a playlist.

This way, the live tags are used only for the playlist-specific spot, independently of the original spot.

## Add live tags to a playlist spot

To add live tags to a spot in a playlist, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Content > Playlist**.
2. In the playlists pane, select the playlist.
3. 4. Switch to **Live tags***.*
5. Drag and drop live tags from the **Available** pane to the **Assigned** pane.
6. Optionally, select **Also play back if no live tag of the selected live tag group is set on the player** to play the spot even if no live tag of the live tag group is set on the player.
7. Click **Save** to save your changes.

Live tags help filter spots based on data from (local) web services. For example, to adapt the content displayed in a store to the current weather.
