# Configure SSP for IXM One

To enable playing SSP content on any player, you must configure IXM One.

## Adjust the config file

You must enable SSP in the IXM One configuration. To do so, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the configuration files on the server at: GVServer2\www\gv2\gf\GFWebHtmlCustomer\
2. Open one of the following the folders:
  - **00000**: edit configurations for the entire server, which means for all customers.
  - **000xxx**: edit customer-specific settings. xxx is the customer ID.
3. Open the config.json file in your folder with a text editor like Notepad++.
4. Change the following settings:
  - Set **enableDooh** to **true** (this setting enables SSP)
  - Set **enableCategoriesPerScreen** to **true**
  - Set **enableLiveTags** to **true**
  - Set **enableSpotPropertyInheritanceForUserType** to **Admin**
5. Save your changes and close the config file.

**Example: configuration of the config.json file**

## Set up the data importer

**Note**

You need to set up the data importer if you use DOOH add-on versions earlier than 2.5.1. If you use add-on version 2.5.1 or later, you can skip this chapter.

To ensure that the data from the [UDC Importer](https://docs.grassfish.com/docs/en/configure-server-ssp) is imported into IXM One, you must create and configure the data importer in IXM One.

### Create the data importer

To create the data importer, perform the following steps:

<editor360-custom-block data-preprocessing="true" data-sanitizationtags="strong"><ol><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">In IXM One, go to <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Administration &gt; Content &gt; Data importer</strong>.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">Click on <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">New</strong>.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">From the <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Data importer</strong> dropdown, select the DOOH Playback Importer.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">Specify a <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Designation</strong> and <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Display&nbsp;</strong><strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">name&nbsp;</strong>for your data importer.<br><img src="https://cdn.document360.io/e2b87f73-d9f5-43cb-8182-2641762664fd/Images/Documentation/data_importer_create.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T20%3A21%3A46Z&se=2026-11-06T21%3A21%3A46Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=2HINjxzpcktm7uHEExO7Dtg%2FTWidtVivSRUuVDpgJqk%3D" class="fr-fil fr-dib"></li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">Switch to the <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Feeds</strong> tab and select a <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Feeds definition</strong> from the dropdown menu.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">Click on the <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">+</strong> and add a feed.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">In the <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Path</strong> field, enter the file path to your feed definition config file.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">Specify all other settings as required.</li><li style="box-sizing:border-box;">Click <strong style="box-sizing:border-box;font-weight:700;">Save</strong> to save your changes.</li></ol></editor360-custom-block>

### Assign the data importer

Now, you must assign the data importer to the player. To do so, perform the following steps in IXM One:

1. Go to **Channels > Location** and double-click on the player.
2. In the **Edit player** window, click on the **Data sources** tab.
3. Click **Add data source**. This opens the **Add data source** window.
4. Select the **DOOH Playback Importer** from the dropdown menu and click **Save**.

5. In the **Edit player** window, select **Global** for the **DOOH Playback Importer**.
6. Click **Save** to save your changes.
