# Assign playlist tags

Assign tags to playlists to control how they're used. You can assign as many tags as you like.

To assign tags to a playlist, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Channels > Program scheme**.
2. In the **Available playlists** pane, select the playlist that you want to edit.
3. Click **Edit**. Alternatively, double-click on the playlist.
4. In the **Edit playlist** window, switch to the **Tags** tab.
5. Drag and drop tags you want to assign from **Available** to **Assigned**. 6. Click **Save** to save your changes.
