# Assign players to locations

To assign players to a location, you can either create new players in the location or move players from another location to it.

To do so, perform the following steps:

1. Go to **Channels > Location**.
2. Select one or more players for which you would like to select a different location.
3. Drag and drop the selected players onto the desired location in the **Location** pane.

> The system automatically updates existing address and contact information of moved players.
