# Assign holiday lists

> Holiday lists must be activated in IXM One. Only admins can configure holiday settings.

You can assign one or more holiday lists to a player.

- Flexibly adapt the operating times on holidays to local demands.
- A new player in a subordinate location inherits the holiday list of the superordinate location, but you can assign additional holiday lists to it.

## Assign a holiday list to a player

To assign a holiday list to a player, perform the following steps:

1. In IXM One, go to **Channels > Location**.
2. In the **Location** pane, select the location of the player.
3. Double-click on the player or select it and click on **Edit**.
4. In the **Edit player** dialog, select **Holiday list**.
5. In the **Assign holiday list** window, drag and drop one or more holiday lists from **Available** to **Assigned**.
6. Click **Save** to save your changes.
