# 08.05.2026 - Linux copyFail add-on release

### We've release the Linux copyFail add-on

We were informed about the Copy Fail security issue that allows privilege escalation on Linux systems if an attacker already has access.

This add-on mitigates the security issue on all Grassfish Linux Player versions.

Please go to the [download area](/grassfish/docs/linux-player-downloads) or contact your account manager to receive this add-on as an update category on your Grassfish server.
